Scattered Acres was the affectionate name for an enduring anchoring place in North Stonington, CT that remained in my family from 1928 until 2000. Scattered Acres can be taken to mean a particular place - or it can be taken as a metaphor for the various places I have lived. At Scattered Acres you will find random thoughts and commentary about the passing political, economic, environmental, social and cultural scene. There is much to be said about all of these.
